i am using wpa2 and i only loose wifi on my portable phone
android phone, did not try apple device IOS as i do not have one.
i can confirm the bug still exist even in the 1.04 firmware.
Linksys team has never submited a firmware without bugs
that why i choose dd-wrt hardware comptible devices.
i tried my new device and issue still exist on android phone after a while it wont recognise the wifi, i have to reboot the device to get it to work.

You’re only having problem with the android phone right? What about connecting to another network? Is it stable?

Hi opheliaimmortal23,
No i have not tried updating the drivers of my wireless devices. I cannot tell everyone who comes here to update their drivers before using our wireless :/ but i had the problem on several laptops. A reboot fixed the problem for a few days.

for wireless computers below windows 7(especially for win xp) there's a possibility that it mmay have problems connecting to the wireless network if the security being used was wpa2, that is why it is important that the drivers of the wireless adapter supports wpa2.

I have the same issue with WAP610N dropping connection. It affects all devices connected to it. Laptops (Win7), iPhones, iPads, Androids phone/tablets, Macs etc.
Devices are shown as connected to WAP610N but no network activity until WAP610N is rebooted.
My unit is an RMA replacement from Cisco (came with firmware 1.0.01). With firmware 1.0.04, replacement unit is behaving exactly the same as the RMA-ed unit. AP needs rebooting onces a day at least to regain connection.

What are the wireless settings that you have set to your device by the way?

This error has been reported for almost 2 years and remains unresolved.
Honestly, this manufacturer has not yet realized that this device has serious failures that are also serious security problems?

I had the same problem, but it turns out the issue was with the phone and not the router or computer.
I had a Motorola Droid 4. I spoke with Motorola support and they told me the phone was not designed to connect to WPA2, and to please downgrade my security. I quickly returned the phone and got an HTC Vivid and it connects beautifully.

Motorola, Nokia, HTC, Samsung, Apple, Google and Microsoft may be wrong, and all of their phones could not be designed to connect to WPA2...
I wonder why all of this phones work properly with other routers, connected to WPA2... Coincidence?

Hmmm...that is something...what other routers (brand) by the way? Has the Cisco router been upgraded also for the firmware?
