I can access my router settings and such from my home computer that is connected to the router. How can I access it from work to control the internet access from it.I am needing to stop traffic through it from time to time by setting up a different profle on it?

I have a WRT54g ver.6  I am new to wireless and do not understand how to use the filter settings for the router.

On most Linksys routers you can enable remote management using port 80.  To access your router type in http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 with the XX.XXX.XXX.XXX being your WAN IP address into your internet browser.  Its been awhile since I have done it that way but it should work for you.

Re: Remote access to my wireless router

As you want to filter traffic you can use access restrictions to creat polices to limit the number of computer accessing the Internet in secific period of time .....

You can also limit the users by creating the policy ..........
