WAP11 vs WET11

I have a Sorrenson VP100 that I wanted to wirelessly connect to.  I found a TID on their website that said I could connect the VP to a WET11 to make it work wirelessly.  I ordered a WET11, but got a WAP11.  I read in the manual for the WAP11 that it can work as a bridge.  But I can't seem to get it to work.  It was mentioned to me that I need another WAP11 for it to connect to.  Is that true?  If I had a WET11, would I need it to connect to another WET11?

Does anyone know how to make this work?  I have checked all my wireless and security settings and they seem to be the same on both my Linksys router and the WAP11.  The VP100 works fine when connected via CAT5.  Not sure what other info you 'all would need from me.

Thanks

Re: WAP11 vs WET11

Okay… if you want to connect WAP11 in bridge mode, on the other end it should be WAP11…however for WET11 you don’t require another WET11 on other end, router should work with WET11…get the WET11 and configure it according to wireless settings of router and set it up…it should work as a wireless bridge and you can connect Sorrenson VP100…
