WAP54G & WRT54G

I have a DVR that I am trying to hook up to my network wirelessly.  I have the wireless router in the house and can connect to it with my laptop from the shop in the back. Is there a way  I connect the wireless access point to the DVR in the shop and see it on the network in the house? Sorry I'm kind of new @ this wireless thing.

So what's this DVR? Are you going to try to view movies? What's the make,brand or model?

It is a sanyo dsr 3009 dvr for cctv. It has embedded software. I just need to connect it wirelessly so it can be viewed from the computer in the house.
