WAP54G and T2TP protocols

Does the WAP54G support Layer 2 protocols? Will it ever?

I have a NAS drive that uses Layer 2, and I'd like to use the access point to connect to it.

Re: WAP54G and T2TP protocols

The WAP54G uses TCP/IP Protocol with UDP and TCP ports to establish communication...

The WAP54G has no port filtering, it does not support T2TP Protocol...

Re: WAP54G and T2TP protocols

I'm assuming that its a limitation in the firmware of the router.

If I try a different formware, is it possible that I could the Layer 2 to work with the WAP54G?

Re: WAP54G and T2TP protocols

You can use your Access Point the way you want it to work, it completely depends on what firmware you use on your Access Point...However, I am not aware of any such firmware...
