WRT54G DHCP issues: Change IP address - no connectivity to internet

Win 2003 Server as DHCP --> Router --> AP's --> PC's

Have replaced a dead WRT54G wireless router with a new one.
Have 5 AP's in total - one of them is another identical WRT54G Wireless Router.
Win 2003 DHCP Server (192.168.0.1) has reserved 5 ip address scope from 192.168.0.50-54 for AP's.
Have assigned automatic DHCP config, and disabled DHCP Server capabilities, and given it the IP 192.168.0.54 (as before)
Subnet is 255.255.255.0

At the moment they are enabled as an open network with no authentication.

I have tried to release and then renew the IP addresses for this router, updating the firmware etc, but I cannot connect either wirelessly or hard wired to the router to gain access to the outside world.

Any suggestions would be most welcome please!

I think that you need to enable the Remote Management for the Router....

Under Administration tab ... enable Ramote Management & change the Login password for Router....

Make sure that you are using WAN IP as static on the router ....
