I am also having the same problem, 2 android phones can access all parts of the network through a Belkin N router which is connected to the Cisco X2000, the Cisco has an ip 192.168.1.1 and the Belkin has a fixed IP reserved in the DCHP range set on the Cisco and DCHP is off in the Belkin. The Android phones get the same IP address from both wireless access points as the Cisco DCHP is the only one available but as soon as they swop connection from the belkin to the cisco they can no local access the lan but can still access the internet.

Im having the same problem with my X3000 that i just bought yesterday, after i upgraded to the latest firmware i cant access any of my media severs wirelessly. Wired is all good. Also i cant find the previous firmware because for some reason linksys is god and doesnt want to provide proper support.....
I can access the media servers from my e1000 on the otherside of the house.. so its not a setup issue. ive tried reboots, different configs etc... now im just tried.
its pretty stupid releasing routers that dont work properly. I Had a wag120n that was pretty **bleep**! now ive got this piece of **bleep** that doesnt work properly... linksys makes half **bleep** products for a quick buck?
ive got 3 cisco linksys products, should just throw then out the door.....
does anyone have the factory firmware for the x3000?

Well still no change, fault still there and only temp fix is a reboot which works for 24hrs, seems the X3000 has exactly the same problem and the only permanet fix is new firmware. I have reported the fault to Cisco but pretty unresponsive and now expecting a long wait.

I have the same problem.
A Cisco x3000 modem-router with a second wifi access point.
Wireless devices that connect directly to the X3000 have access to the internal LAN with no problem. Once the device connects to the secondary access point, and then connects back to the X3000, internal access to other LAN machines is lost. Still, internet access is fine, but no way to reach internal machines.
Any news on a solution?

No news on a solution yet I'm afraid. Regularly over the last 4 months I've been checking on the status. Each time I've been told that the development team are working on a solution but that there is no ETA for when a fix is going to arrive.
I don't understand how development could have been working on a solution for 4 months without yet fixing the problem. My guess is that either something is horribly messed up with the X3000 somewhere and it's never going to be able to be fixed or I'm just getting a polite response from the support staff and no-one is in fact working on it.
I'm now recommending to all my friends and colleagues at work to avoid Cisco and Linksys. I'm also in the process of doing some more research before looking to toss out every Cisco / Linksys device I have to replace with a different reliable brand. I'm never touching Cisco or Linksys stuff again (I've been burnt by firmware problems with Linksys before - should have avoided again this time).

I find disgraceful that Cisco cannot come out with a solution to this problem. It makes the Cisco X3000 unusable in most circustances but the smallest installations, where a single is wifi access point is enough.
We are not talking about some exotic option in the firmware here, but basic wifi connectivity. What a disgrace.

Look, I have the same problem with a WRT350N and it's anoying me since I bought it. Can't change it on the store because a friend brought it to me from austria and im in latin america.
Today I spoke with the chat customer support and this is what I experienced (sorry for my english)
It's quiet long so I'll put this "spoiler alert" to make it shorter.

hi, im having an issue with my wireless wrt350N v2.1 router with last firmware (v2.00.2) searched help but cant find any solutions
problem is my wireless clients seem to be filtered somehow
when i search my net for pc's on windows7 i can find the wired ones but not the wireless ones. If I unplug the router and
plug it again then it works for a period of time
same thing with other services like apache or remote app of my iphone
I cant access any service on wireless clients.

Hello Iñaki Martin! Welcome to Linksys Live Chat.
I will certainly help. Before we begin, I need to ask a few questions that will help me assist you better.
Please provide me with the following Information : -
1. Serial Number (12-14 alphanumeric characters) of Linksys Product ?
2. The Country you are based in ?
from Iñaki Martin to All Participants:
disabled upnp (read somewhere that it could solve my problem) and worked for like 1 week
country is uruguay (lat amertica)
I thing there is a bug with IPtables or so, something with the firewall filtering stuff he shouldn't.
other routers dont do that. Tested a wrt54g and I'm fully functional
from Ryan (30080E) to All Participants:
Thanks for the info. Please allow me a moment.
from Iñaki Martin to All Participants:
every machine is able to "see" each other.
one more thing, I can ping eah machine fine
now im using wireshark to see if i can troublehoot where tose packets are droped or filtered. But still no results
I allso cant ssh to a machine on my own network If it's wireless. If I wire that machine it works fine
tested to port forward port 22 and 80 to that machine but still, if wired works fine, wireless won't work
from Ryan (30080E) to All Participants:

This is some trouble with routing tables, routers firewall (iptables maybe) or other service like upnp and QoS messing around.
I'll post here if I get this solved

Check this out, just found it on the forums.
Had the same issue with a first time use of a Linksys WAG320N (wireless clients cant "see" wired clients) that I purchased today, there is an issue with the factory default settings not being in sync with the configuration pages.
Tried it and solved and so far, so good, I still need more time to test if this solves permanently my issue. Test it and tell me your results.

read this post... it's better than copy pasting everything.
sorry for spaming.
This issue is getting me nuts.

On the X2000 and X3000 the advanced wireless configeration is hidden, you need to use a link like this to get to it.
http://192.168.1.1/Wireless_Advanced.asp
Just going to try this fix now to see if it works.
