appreciate if you can share your experience with this problem of mine.
I have recently purchased the Galaxy SII smartphone.
Problem is I am unable to connect to my home wifi (Linksys WAG160N), where my Laptops (i have 2) and other phones Nokia 5800 Express music and Nokia E63 and Samsung Galaxy Ace have been able to detect and connect easily.
Upon further checking, I may have narrowed it down to the below and would like to seek support or confirmation as well as a clarification.
On the Wifi (Linksys WAG160N), I am using the following settings Radio Band: Standard 20 MHz Channel and Standard Channel:12 - 2.467 GHz. With these settings, my Samsung GSII is not able to detect the Wifi whereas my laptops and other phones are able to. Same results with Standard Channel:13 - 2.472 GHz.
When I changed the settings to Radio Band: Standard 20 MHz Channel and Standard Channel:11 - 2.462 GHz, the Samsung GSII is able to detect, but my laptop is not able to detect the Wifi.
How can I make my Samsung GSII detect the Wifi when I use either Standard Channel:12 - 2.467 GHz or Standard Channel:13 - 2.472 GHz.?

I think you need to create a new thread regarding your problem with the Smasung G S2 and the Wag160N.

I had the same problem.
downgrading the firmware to V2.00.17 I got N to work.
I never could think CISCO don't work to solve the problem with the upgrated firmware.
I'll wait. I would like tell, in the future, I paied the right for this product.

Can somebody help me please with downgrade (2.00.20 -> 2.00.17)? When I click on "Administration" and then on "Firmware Upgrade" button, I select file WAG160Nv2_AnnexA_ETSI_FW_2.00.17.bin, but downgrade is canceled after few seconds with following text:
Upgrade file is not the correct type or version for this device.
Please select the correct file and try again.
Where is the mistake? Please help...
