I cannot get wireless collection to work up stairs with the WUS600N Adaptor at all,and with the modem 20 feet from from my laptop downstairs i am only getting 3 BAR SIGNAL STRENTH.
Just had Replacement WAG160N ALEX A V2 as my other one died ,(did not have a problem with the one sent back for replacement)
Have the latest firmware 00.20 installed model serial No is SSH10JA11079
WUS600N V1 latest drivers for windows 7 .03.10
Windows detects the modem ok, but there is no signal at all up stairs and with the modem downstairs even the wireless on the laptop (15 feet from the modem) is only 3 bar signal strength ,did have this problem with the one I sent back.
I have gone through all the wireless channels setup in the set up page with customer support (5 hours!) and no fix to the issue.Any Help would great or what could be coursing the problem.

I think you have already tried changing the wireless channel on the router.
You can tyr to re-flash the firmware on your router. Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable and re-flash the firmware on your router. After re-flashing the firmware on your router, reset the router and reconfigure it.
Do you have any other wireless computer/device in the network?

Hi Carrot, thanks for your response ,I am sorry I did not get back to you earlier. However it turns out that this router was also faulty!!
Just to cut a long story I spoke to customer services who was handling my case on the previous one, told me to send it back to them at there expense (P.P.L WITH U.P.S.).
I had a email from them today and they don't have the WAG160N in stock. So they have offered me a brand NEW MODLE WAG320 V1 WITH THE FULL 2 YEAR WARRANTY instead, is now waiting for shipping process.
I would be most grateful Carrot if there is any issues with this one or information you can give me regards to this one before I receive it.I just hope this one pays off this time round without any issues.
Since I am waiting for this replacement I have gone back to my NETGEAR DGP83PN RANGEMAX G ROUTER and have no issues what so ever with this one ,and I have had it for well over 12 months now. Also using the WPN111 WIRELESS Adaptor which works fine with no issues, wireless speed is only 54 mps though.
Just for your information we have the laptop ACER INSPIRE 5101AWLMI(downstairs) and my computer(towercase) is upstairs, and both use windows 7.If you need anymore information let me know Carrot.
