WAG120 with E4200 setup

Hi all,

I have just purchased a WAG120N and E4200 Router.

I would like to use the WAG as modem only and leave all network activity to be managed by the E4200.

I have an ADSL2+ service through iiNet.

All of my home harware is wireless.

Has anyone completed this setup, or know how this might be acheived.

Full Bridge mode on the WAG is my obvious thought but the specifics have me a bit confused.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: WAG120 with E4200 setup

1. For initial setup you'll need one computer wired.

2. Get the necessary ADSL2+ parameters from your ISP.

3. Wire a computer to the WAG120N and switch to full bridge mode and set up the correct parameters.

4. Now configure your computer to connect to the internet. Use the standard Windows wizards for the setup. It should be a PPPoE connection. Make the internet connection works.

5. Now insert the setup cd of the E4200 and it should guide you through the rest of the setup...

Thanks,

Simple and easy, just what I needed to know. (Note: Help link from modem/router tells you the same, or simply 'rtfm'.)
