WAG120N Remote access

Hello,

have problem with both of my wag120n routers. I setup remote access, from the intranet it works fine. But from internet instead of showing me the page it starts downloading it.  Instead of home page trying to save ¨download¨, if i put a long link like xxx.com/setup.cgi?=etc  then it tryes to save ¨setup.cgi¨. All fileas are empty, 7kbytes. Any ideas what it could be?

Best regards

Re: WAG120N Remote access

Is this the first time you're experiencing this problem or is remote access working before with both of your WAG120N? Are you using the latest firmware on your 2 gateways?

Re: WAG120N Remote access

If you are trying to access the setup page of the router remotely:

-- If you have a DDNS/Domain name, you need to configure the router for DDNS first and enable remote management via the router setup page. The port to access should be 8080 not 8888. Refer to the links below:

Setting-up DDNS Service on the Linksys ADSL Gateway
