WAG354G ADSL Gateway - Cannot connect to Internet

Afternoon All,
 
I've recently bought a new laptop and am now unable to connect to the internet through the WAG354G gateway. I can see that the laptop is connected to the gateway (wireless or via network cable) and that the gateway cannot access the internet.
 
The gateway has a red led on the internet connection, all others are green (power, dsl etc. etc.) With my old laptop I had no problems, but now cannot use this laptop to get on to the internet either.
 
My ISP (BT-Yahoo) cannot find any problems with the line.
 
Can someone advise on what to do next?

Hi ,

            The red internet light indicates that the settings on the gateway are not correct, open the setup page of the the gateway and verify all the settings on the gateway specially the user name and password , if all the settings are correct then you may need to upgrade the firmware of  the gateway .
