Hi I just updated my X2000 from Ver.2.0.03 to Ver.2.0.04 and after I updated the router I can no longer get access certain websites or play games online and I can't download or update apps on my phone but I can serf the web on my phones browser.
I switch to my neighbors wifi who has the same router just with Ver.2.0.03 and it all works without any problems.
I even brought his router to my house and plugged it in and it works.
What on this new firmware would block this? Does anyone have a way to fix it or can I downgrade my routers firmware to Ver.2.0.03?
I have tried to turn off IP V6 settings and open ports but nothing works
thanks for the help.

Why did you have to upgrade the firmware by the way on the router? I checked Cisco's support page already for this router and the release notes and it has the following (below):
Firmware 2.0.04 (build 007)
Release Date: October 09, 2012
- Added IPv6 support
- Added WPS enable/disable button
- Added mDNS support
- Removed Trend Micro category blocking
And the old one is not posted on the website for you to use to downgrade. You can try to google it and maybe someone has posted somewhere the old firmware for this router or call Cisco support?

Mainly for the IPv6 support, a program I use for networking is suppose to run better if the router supports it but I saw no deference and now my internet is messed up
- Added IPv6 support
- Added WPS enable/disable

does anyone have the Firmware 2.0.03 (build 001) for the X2000 or know if it is possible to reinstall the firmware?
I can login to the devic and change setting but they dont help the problem

It is indeed hard to find an old cisco firmware nowadays because they're no longer maintaining a site for it. What you can do though is either to reflash the firmware with the current version or perhaps try to consider using another open source firmware

If that's the case, then perhaps what you can do is to have that router be returned and replaced since you already performed the necessary troubleshooting steps and the only solution that you have can't be found on the web.
