cm-100 no longer compatible with comcast

comcast has inform me that my cm-100 is no longer compatiable with their new upgrade.  They say I need docsis 3.0 and mine is only certified to 2.0.   Is there any truth to this.

CM100 supports following versions of DOCSIS 1.0, 1.1, 2.0.

I think I have read somewhere that CM100 is a docsis 2.0 modem only??? Or maybe I am wrong. :smileyhappy:
