Remotely watching two camera outputs

Hi

I have two WVC54GCA cameras. Both are working fine. Is it possible to see the images remotely from both cameras at the same time like that in a viewer?

I also have two sony cameras! It would be nice to see all 4!! on one screen. I hope you can advise me at least about Linkys.

Thanks

Re: Remotely watching two camera outputs

As you are able to view your camera in the Local Network, and you want to view your camera Remotely, First you need to login to your Camera setup page and go to the Options tab and enable Alternate Web Access Port and the Default Port no : 1024 (this will be for your 1st camera) for 2nd camera change the port no: 1025 and you need to open the same ports on your Router. After this you will be able to view your camera remotely.

Re: Remotely watching two camera outputs

Thank you.

My 1st Camera is in 1024 and the 2nd one in 1025.
Port forwarding has been done.
I can access both my cameras from internet using TWO different URLS.
I can see only one camera at a time.
On the viewer one can see upto 9 cameras on one screen.
My question was whether it is possible to see the streams from BOTH cameras on a single screen like it is possible in the viewer.
I read that one could embed codes on a HTML document to see stream from one camera.
I am not an expert in HTML. I wonder whether it can be done for 2 or more cameras.

Re: Remotely watching two camera outputs

The easiest way is just what you said... build an html file. If you open your cameras viewing page and go to "view page source" you should be able to find the source code that pertains to the video stream. Just copy that over and tweak it.
