I was curious if I could use the Advanced UI on the router (http://192.168.1.1), configure a different IP address range, and still use Cisco Connect.
Yes this works.
From the router UI (192.168.1.1) I configured the IP address to be (for example) 192.168.105.1
I saved settings. The router rebooted. I power-cycled the router.
I connected my PC to the wifi network again, and went to (for example) http://192.168.105.1 and was able to log into the router UI. It picked up the new address and it is assigning DHCP addresses from this new range.
I started Cisco Connect software, and it found the router. It was easy.
The Router Details page shows everything correctly.
Success - advanced UI plus Cisco Connect.
