Re: Cisco connect sotware for E4200V1

Hi.

That is right.

.

I have a E4200 V1 router.

I first installed original from original CD-ROM ,Main window title shows E 4200, starts to update and main window title changes to EA4500. After installing CiscoConnect.E4200.1.4.11266.0 from website the same thing happened.

After trying to connect the error is:

: Foutcode: 82BD0304 Beschrijving van fout: HNAP-oproep naar apparaat mislukt, omdat de HTTP-verbinding werd verbroken. Modelnaam: onbekend Modelnummer: EA4500 Serienummer: onbekend Firmwareversie: onbekend Besturingssysteem: Windows 7 SP 1 Softwareversie: 1.4.12100.0 Verbindingstype (WAN): onbekend IP-adres (LAN): onbekend IP-adres (WAN): onbekend IP-adres computer: 192.168.1.140

Translation:

Errorcode: 82BD0304. Description of error: HNAP-call to device failed because of broken HTTP-connection.

Model-name: Unknown.

Model-Nr:  EA4500.  ???

Softwareversion: 1.4.12100.0. ???

ConnectionType(WAN): UnKnown IP-address-LAN:

UnKnown IP-address (WAN):UnKnown IP-address computer: 192.168.1.140

I downloaded and installed today and the same happened.

Re: Cisco connect software for E4200V1

[ Edited ]

Solved!

A little logic did the magic,

As the software for E4200V1 updated to version EA4500 that is not working for E4200V1,  I thought maybe Update versions got mixed up on Cisco Update server, so I downloaded E4200V2 software witch is the same as EA4500.

I installed it and the program started as Linksys EA4500, it updated and changed to E4200 version, connected and works  !

Regards,
