I just got a new M10 and set it up sucessfully, however, when I open Cisco Connect it tells me there's an important update, but it fails every time I try. I've tried it 4 times. FYI...I leave it unplugged for the full 2 minutes. I can't remember the exact message it gives me, but it essentially says that the update can't be performed.
I'm using a cable modem. I use a netbook with Windows 7 starter and it's the only PC I have. Nothing else is connected.

In this case what you can try is to download the Valet Cisco Connect from the Linksys/Cisco website or can be downloaded from the link: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/valet/M
