DMA2200 and 5GHz connection to E4200

Can the DMA 2200 connect wirelessly to an E4200 using the 5GHz band? If so, what channel should the router use?

Cheers,

Art

Hi akamos,

I connected my DMA2200 to the 5GHz band on my wrt610n. I just left the channel to auto but you can experiment which channel works best for you.

Re: DMA2200 and 5GHz connection to E4200

I have been using my DMA2100 with the WRT600N on the 5GHz band for a few years now.

But....I recently tried upgrading my router and have had nothing but issues trying to do the same thing. I currently have both a Netgear 900N and a Cisco E4500 and cannot get the DMA2100 to connect to either one on the 5GHz band.

I am about to try the new ASUS dual-band N router but have a feeling that it is also going to not work. We will see.
