Had trouble with router and tech. support offered to remotely control my computer. Assured me he would refund the $9 charge if he was unsuccessful solving my problem. He was very polite and patient. At end of call he assured me the charge I had allowed a few minutes before would be refunded b/c he couldn't solve my problem.
That week I received receipt confirmation of charge to my acct! I called back as my router was still not functional and I wanted to enquire about refunding the charge. The new tech rep. said she couldn't refund it- no elaboration why. This tech rep. did eventually solve my router problem without remote access. Any way to get my money back?
