Computer with no PS/2 ports

I recently bought a dell desktop that has no PS/2 ports. I have a convert from USB to PS/2. When I connect the computer to a monitor, it works fine. When I try to connect it to my SVIEW08.V2, I get a Out of Scan Range blue box that comes up on the monitor. Does this KVM not support USB keyboard/mice even if it is using a converter?
Thanks,

Re: Computer with no PS/2 ports

Yes it does
I have had the same issue, however there is only one brand of a Y cable that works well with the switch, it is the COMPAQ cable.
Found at frys, compusa.
It has to be COMPAQ, all others are flaky, causing alot of issues.
