I can't find the ip address of the print server on my router DHCP clients

I got the WPS54G wireless-g print server at a yard sale and have downloaded the setup wizard.  Everything seems flawless untill Step 7, Select Print Server.  Can't find anything.

Before all of this, I tried to access the print server directly through it's ip address, but can't get it.  I have checked all of the ip addresses on the main router and found everything but the print server.

All is setup, more than once, exactly as defined in the setup wizard steps.

I have Windows 7 and a 64 bit laptop.

Any suggestions would be great.  I have already spent 2 hours on this thing and am determined to get it working.  All of the lights on the top of the print server blink/light as they should when they should.  I haven't been wireless yet, still trying to get it setup.

Thanks,

Chris

Re: I can't find the ip address of the print server on my router DHCP clients

Connect the Print server with the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of the router .

Press the reset on the print server for 15-20 seconds .

You might get the test page from the printer mentioning the IP Address of the Print Server .

If not, Power cycle the print server and router both .

Open the setup page of the router and check if you are getting the IP Address of print server in DHCP client table .

Thanks, that worked. This is pretty cool, using an old printer wirelessly.
