nope same old same old - i left if for an hour hooked to the router
i have a wrt54g in dhcp mode and it gives out addresses for free all day
this psus4 for some reason wont get the address
i swapped enet cables etc as well
printed setup sheet out again all 0.0.0.0
i cant be the only one on here to have this issue

Open the setup page of the router and make sure that DHCP server on the router is enabled.
Go to Status tab and click on Local network sub tab. open the DHCP client table and see if you can find the IP address of the print server in the list.
Unplug the Print Server.
Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds while plugging the power back into the Print Server at the same time.
This will reset the Print Server to factory defaults.
Power cycle the router and print server and now check the IP address of the print server.

same as before
it serves up dhcp to all notebooks in the house
this psus4 will not obtain an address
i have reset it numerous times
169.254.25.33 IP ADDRESS
now what can do step wise to get it on the network

Your printer server shows the IP address of 169.254.25.33.
Connect the print server to the Ethernet port on the computer.
Assign a static IP address to the Local area connection of the computer ( 169.254.25.10 , subnet - 255.255.0.0 ).
Open Internet browser and in the address bar type 169.254.25.33..
Now see if you can access the setup page of the print server.
if you are able to access the setup page of the print server then you can change the IP address of the print server manually.
