To use the scan function on your printer you must connect to the printer
by clicking on the Print Server utility located at the bottom right hand corner
near the clock in the Windows system tray.
If you dont see the icon then run the Print Server utility from the Start-All Programs-Linksys Wireless print
The Icon should be green if all is working. Double click the Print Server utility Icon, then select CONNECT.
You should then see the scanner in your Windows Control Panel under Scanner / Image device.
You must connect every time you want to scan, if you have it set to Auto-Disconnect.

I am having the same problem - after sucessfully configuring the print server (it is recognized by my network) I cannot locate the printer with the wizard when setting up my computer. I can't do it with Vista, XP, or Windows 7 (I have one of each). I've tried these steps as posted by adfsaf, but I get an error that says "could not connect to LPR port". Any suggestions?

I followed your advice, and it works. But there is a serious problem. When I send a page to the printer, it prints the page properly, but it prints the page in lots of copies - until the papertray is empty!
The normal settings are as the should be. What is wrong?

I solved the problem myself. You just have to update to the latest version of software for the printserver. Then you you will be able to install your printer manually as a usual TCP/IP printer.
