non wifi printer

just bought a linksys e3000 and i have a non-wifi ready printiner epson stylus rx595 and have  a wireless lat top computer  along with a desk top pc.  i am having to disconnect the usb cable from the desk top to the lap top if i want to print from the lap top.  Is there anyway i can use the router to print from my lap top?  I have plugged in the printer cable to the router and attempted to print but i did not work..need some help if all possibe.. thx in advance..

You can connect the USB cable from printer to the router. The USB port on E3000 router is for the storage device only.

Connect the printer to the desktop. Make sure that you can print from the desktop. Your laptop is connected to the wireless network. Enable File and printer sharing on both the computers.
