The Linksys RE1000 Range Extender is a wireless-N 2.4 GHz Fast Ethernet (10/100) Bridge Port.  It has the ability to extend your router’s wireless signal through its multiple antennas.  To set up your RE1000, you can either use the Setup CD that came with your device or through its web-based setup page.

Here is the link for accessing the web-based setup page of the RE1000: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=76055e8973f5487f82d2d3f610da4c02_Accessing_the_web...

For easy set up

If you have a Linksys router

  •  connect the RE1000 to the linksys router ethernet port
  •  run the CD and it should work !

I believe that I can make it :smileyhappy:

The address may change depending on your DHCP setup.  Easiest way is to open windows explorer, click on network, right click and go to Properties, then click on the web address for the RE1000.  That location will always show the current address.
