Hello everyone! I recently purchased the repeater RE1000 associating it to a Linksys E3000. I note several problems ... the speed of the PC connected to the repeater does not exceed 3 Mbps and it is impossible to see a video because it freezes. I updated with the latest firmware. Can I try another?

I set as you said. The rate now stands at around 5.5 mbps and the connection seems more stable. I can see the video without the blocks. On the router there are three other sets ... "Network Mode" (I set N), "channel width" 20 MHz or 40 MHz (I have set to automatic). I can reach 10 Mbps as before using a repeater?
Thanks for the help!

Try the following combination of settings:-
A] With the help of Cisco Connect Software (if at all you have installed the router with the help of this software)
1] Open the software and go to the option which says "Router Settings"
2] Then click on the option which says "Advanced Settings" which will take you to the router's configuration page.
3] Then go to the Wireless tab, keep network mode as “N-Only”, make Channel Width to 20 MHz only and Channel to 6, 9, 11..
B] If you haven't installed Cisco Connect then you can log on to the router's user interface using it's default IP address in the browser which is 192.168.1.1 and type in 'admin' as the password leaving the user name field blank. This will take you to the router's web interface and then follow steps as mentioned above to make the changes.

what's the wireless adapter on your PC? chances are it could use a driver update. you can do a windows automatic driver update or get the latest drivers specific to your adapter.
btw, is this going on on just one device? isolate by connecting another device to the network and check how that performs.

check the WMM settings on both devices.
for E3000: Go to Applications & Gaming> QoS
for RE1000: Go to Wireless> QoS
are they both set to enabled? you can disable WMM support on both devices and see what happens. this seem to have gotten my wireless speeds to improve.
