I bought the RE1000 a couple months ago and sucessfully paired it with a old wireless router that just died. I bought a new Cisco E2500 router, and that is working just fine.
I am still able to see the extender on the network, but that has not paired with the new router. I can still see it listed as one of the available networks, but if course, with no connection to the router, there is no internet. I have tried connecting, using the Setup app on the CD, wirelessly and directly via the ethernet port. In neither situation, does the Setup app find the extender.
I have even tried to press and hold the reset button for 10 second, hoping I can just get it to start from sctratch, but to no avail.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

To ensure the proper configuration of the range extender, you need to know the wireless settings of your router or access point. These settings are:
• SSID
• Wireless Channel
• Wireless Security and Network Key
