It was easy enough to hook up to the computer and get set up. The program would not however set up taping. I could be gone all day and it not record the 1st thing. If you have a power failure or reboot the linksys you had better go through the whole set up process all over again because the computer can not find the camera.
This was a total waste of money. Very disappointing.

In response to your question if I have a static IP address. No. What does that have to do with the program not recording anything or being able to play it back?

Did you only try one computer for the camera? Try to do an update for its firmware and reconfigure it. You might find this link helpful as well http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=

I am going to send it back to Amazon and buy something else. This is something that is not user friendly. I am no computer wiz. I don't like FAQ's to try and find my own answers when there is no real customer service. Personally I am so tired of Tech companies throwing junk like this out on the unknowing public and then we are the Guinna pigs that have to figure out how to make it work. I followed the directions, it should work as advertised. I should not have to become a diagnostic technician to use the product.

Hi, I don't know if this will help but these links could help you set the set the camera up.
