Trying to set up a new E1200 wireless router, and it won't connect to internet for some reason...The cord that was enclosed will not fit our jack, and I tried just connecting it the same way our previous router was connected. Didn't work. Anyone got any helpful suggestions, or can you tell me how to call Linksys (will they even give any phone support for setting up new hardware?) Thanks!

Hi there. Who is your ISP/Internet provider? If it's a DSL provider, they usually provide a modem box where you will connect the cord coming from the wall then you will connect your new router to the modem.

If in case they provided you with a modem/router or a gateway, you may connect the E1200 to it.
To do this correctly, you need to know the LAN IP address of the modem/router provided by your ISP then follow the steps in this article.
