you're using X2000 v2, right? what version of cisco connect are you using? have you tried the latest version (Ver.1.4.11320.1)?
MAC OS X 10.8 is a relatively new operating system. i'm sure cisco will come up with a CCS version compatible with it soon! or cisco may roll out Cisco Connect Cloud for the X2000... let's wait and see.

Just purchased an E2500. Tried to install on a MAC running OS 10.8 and got an Unsupported Operating System message. Any update on a Mountain Lion compatible Setup package?

There is no update yet on cisco's website on when the cisco connect software will be working/compatible with mac os x 10.8 operating system. MAC OS X 10.8 is fairly new to the market and hopefully cisco will update their software soon. If you have a windows-based computer, you can run the setup cd on that computer (for you to take advantage of the software) and then just manually connect your mountain lion computer to the router. If you don't have any windows-based computer, you can still get the router working with your computer by manually setting it up.
Who's your internet service provider? For instructions on how setup the router manually, refer to these links: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=

Bump. OSX Mountain Lion support coming soon? This is kind of dissapointing that the OS has been out for a while and nothing is available. Maybe I am just impatient, I am not sure.

I tried to check from Cisco's KB for any recent update about this but unfortunately there's none so far, http://homekb.cisco.com/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=
