Adding a switch to an existing wired home LAN

I have a home wired LAN which needs to be expanded.  I have a Linksys BEFSR41 Cable/DSL router that is currently full.  I need to add 2 more devices.  I recently purchased a EZXS88W Workgroup Switch.  What I had thought about doing is running line cable from the router to the switch and having everything else connected to the switch.

I know zip about how to configure this, so please help.

There is no need to configure the linksys switch , u just need to connect cable from the Router  LAN port to the Switch. It should work fine.

Wizzard:

Do you mean from the uplink port or from one of the other four ports?

Well, Connect a cable from Lan port of router to the Lan port of the Switch (for Eg Port 1 of router to port 1 of switch).
