EZXS88W as a gift (no cables no drivers)

Howdy,
Brother in law gave me a free 8 port workgroup Switch.  Yippee!  No power adapter, no documentation, nada.  Where can I get a pwr adapter and drivers (if I need them) for the switch (also if you could direct me to a good tutorial for linking two computers using WinXP Home that's be great)

thanks for your input.

Re: EZXS88W as a gift (no cables no drivers)

First thing you need to do is find out what version of the EZXS88W you have with you.the power specs are as follows

EZXS88W 5V 6A 3 PRONG
EZXS88W V.1 3.3V 3A BIG BARREL 100~240V
EZXS88W-V2  3.3V 3A BIG BARREL 110~120V
EZXS88W-V3 9V 800MA SMALL BARREL 100~120V

As far as the drivers are concerned , you don't need any or rather the switch does not require any drivers.

I need a new one for my desktop switch (EZXS88W ver2.0)

The manual says it uses a 9V @800ma. It's not readily available in the CHICAGO ARAEA!!! Go figure. The previous post says it takes a 3V I think. They might be talking about some other switch.

Why can't we just buy a new AC adapter from these folks at Cisco?

What do I do?

(Mod note: Edited for guideline compliance. Thank you.)
