Linksys WAPPOE12-Splitter not ieee802.3af compliant?

[ Edited ]
Hello,

I'm using a Linksys SGE2000P-Switch which provides PoE. Now I've connected a "Linksys WAPPOE12 ver1.1" PoE-Splitter to the switch but the splitter device isn't working (no light on the splitter and nothing in relation to PoE on the switch). When I'm using the "Linksys WAPPOE12 Injector" the splitter works fine. Is there something wrong with the splitter or is it not compatible with the switch? (The switch is o.k. - it works fine with other PoE devices)

Sincerely gm

PS: Where can i get the SNMP-MIB for the SGE2000P-Switch?

Hi. This a 2-piece set kit. I think the splitter doesn't work without the injector. Although the injector can be used by itself with POE-enabled network devices that accept 48 volts directly on a POE port. In the user guide, it shows how the 2-piece set work together and how the injector works by itself.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I'll take the injector and splitter back to the shop. I've expected more from Linksys... greets gm
