Modem Pass-through Mode

[ Edited ]
Hello all,

I need to use modem pass-through mode on the SPA8000, but the device may not dial a * (in the doc it's noted that *99 triggers modem pass-through mode)

I the documentation I read :

Modem Pass-through Mode can be triggered only by predialing the <Modem Line Toggle Code>.

Isn't there any other way to use modem pass-through mode ? On this very line I only need modem pass-through mode.

Thanks a lot for any help !

Regards,
Fabianus

Re: Modem Pass-through Mode

I need same information.

Can anybody from Linksys/Cisco tech support answer on this question?

How I can modify Dial Plan for Line or set permanent mode "Modem Line Toggle Code" for SPA2102/PAP2T ?

This mode we need in case of connecting Alarm/Payment terminal via VoIP line.

Re: Modem Pass-through Mode

Did anybody respond you? I need it too!  We had dedicate a line to Credit Card POS (Point-of-Sale), but POS did not accept * as a dialed number, so we can not dial *99 do inform PAP2T that call will be a Modem call. Can anybody help us?
