I am trying to modify the settings of a PAP2T at a remote site and am having trouble with the web admin pages. I can log in as user or admin, but when the page renders it seems to show several pages at once one after the other. For example if I click on the Info tab, I see the normal info, but then lower down the page, also shown are the input boxes for Network, User 1, Line 1. So the page is longer than it should be and more than one tab is shown at once. Very strange.
No matter which tab I clcik on, the page starts with info at the top, then all the other input boxes below.
I have tried Explorer, Firefox, Chrome browsers on a PC. I have tried Safari on a MAC. I have tried Safari on my ipohone via 3G rather than my office ADSL. All show the same behavoiur.
I have logged onto another one of my customers sites and the PAP2T there does the same thing.
I have logged onto these devices before and never had a problem
These sites have satellite links so latency is around 600 to 800 ms. not sure if it is significant or not.
Both PAP2Ts have firmware version 3.1.15(LS) and are about 2 months old.
Can anyone help please. This is really puzzling me.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I should have mentioned that the submit buttons don't show. So I am unable to modify the settings. This is why it is such a problem for me.

Thanks hw. I tried adjusting the window size right down as far as 500. After each change I re-booted. But the pages still loaded incorrectly.
Google Chrome wont load the pages at all. Explorer and Firefox load sometimes. The HTML from several tabs loads at once. So the page ends up longer than it should be. And there are still no submit buttons.
One of the forum messages states that the Javascript is being broken. It sounds like this may be happening here. The symptoms I see fit the similar problems in the forums, but reducing window size doesn't seem to make any difference.

From what you have described, I would assume there is something wrong with the PAP2T's Firmware...I would suggest you to upgrade it's Firmware and check if it corrects your problem...
The reason that reflashing the firmware is the suggestion because there is always some risk that a malfunctioning PAP2T has firmware that has become corrupted...

I would agree, however I doubt that they would both have been corrupted. Also, it is difficult for me to access them to upgrade the firmware as they are on ships at sea. Firmware is 3.1.15(LS).
The two devices are at different sites thousands of miles apart using different SIP servers that have the same problem. The only things they have in common are that they have the same firmware version and they are at the other end of high latency links.
I do feel that it must be something to do with the latency, although I have managed other pap2s over satellite links before without this problem. So maybe it is a bug in just this firmware version.
My fix at the moment is to buy two new pap2t and reconfigure them then send them out to the sites. This is not ideal though. It kind of removes the benefit of having a web admin page.

I had to visit one of the sites for another reason and took the opportunity to work on the PAP2T there. I replaced the unit with a new on and upgraded to the latest firmware version 5.1.6 (LS). I can browse to the box perfectly when on site, but at the other end of a satellite linke (latency 700ms) the problem is still there. This means I cant manage this device remotely.
Google chrome asks for user or admin passwords, but then the browser stays blank.
Firefox does the same.
Explorer loads the heading part of the page, but none of the content.
This is pretty poor for a device that is designed to be remotely managed. Can any one suggest anything? An earlier post suggested adjusting window size which I did but to no avail.
Very dissapointed in this Cisco product and if any one can suggest a fix or an alternaitve product I would be grateful.
Thanks.

This is still not working. The web pages on the PAP2T ATA do not render properly over high latency links.
I have simulated the latency of the satellite link using a web proxy in Europe and shown that the web page GUI does not work.
Any latency of around 600ms (normal for satellite internet) breaks the java script on the page and it becomes unuseable. Has anyone else had the same problem?
Thanks for the replies, but I have tried all suggestions form the Forum to no avail.
Any assistance greatefully received.
