CIT310 REGISTRATION

CIT310 Base Unit and Handset de-registered but unable to re-register.

Connection between PC and Base Unit is O.K.
Handset displays "out of range" and, during the registeration process it shows "searching" but no further movement.

Is there any way to re-register the handset to Base Unit?

Re: CIT310 REGISTRATION

To register the handset to the Base Stationtry the following steps
  1. On the handset, go to Menu - System - Reset. Reset the handset by
providing the Pin code (by default 0000).
  2. Then again go to Menu - System - Register. Input the Pin Code as 0000
    but do not press OK.
  3. Now press the Page Button on the Base Station for
5 secs. The light on it will start flashing. Once the light on the USB
base Station starts flashing, then press OK to confirm the Pin Code.
(i.e the light confirmation of the PIN should be one when the light is
    flashing)

Re: CIT310 REGISTRATION

Dear oook,
Many thanks your kind reply to my problem.

On my handset, there is no System - Reset Menu.
However I pushed page button for 5 seconds and saw the light flashing.
Then go to Menu - Registartion - Base *.
My problem solved.

Actually I contacted Customer Service several times, one of the staff answered to me but no solution. Even she(he) didn't come back to me for a week now. Just silence.

So, I thank you very much.

Regards,
Tommy

Re: CIT310 REGISTRATION

Very good, I had the same problem and the solution worked fine.
  1. push page button for 5 seconds at base unit
  2. access register option at handset
  3. while base unit led is flashing then activate the registration
  4. in a second it will say ok

I had the same problem with another unit. I contacted support and after a long conversation the technician ended up giving me a RMA. Now that I got the new unit the same problem showed up again. Thanks for sharing the solution. Other than that my phone works fine.
