I have SPA-3102 connected to the Panasonic PBX, and all worked well untill i upgraded the firmware to the latest 5.1.10(GW). Did someone had the same problems with this... I am not sure but i thing the old firmware was 3.x.
What could be the difference between those 2 firmwares that could couse the DISCONNECT tone detection to fail. I didnt change any settings since i moved to the new firmware... plz help

Based from the firmware’s release notes, aside from a new feature added, this firmware also addresses many of issues on the spa3102, the document did not specify the actual modifications they did to fix these problems but none seems to be directly related to the issue that you’re having now. Try to check if the algorithm for the disconnect tone changed, if you’re using the default one, you can also try this as your disconnect tone, “450@-30,450@-30; 2(0.25/0.25/1+2)”, of course without the quotes and if located in the united states.
Do you have the CPC options and Long silence options enabled and setup? If you do, have you tried just enabling one at a time, example, if you have the detect disconnect tone enabled, turn off the CPC and Long silence, and vice versa, just so to isolate which option is causing the issue or which one would work for you, you can also try to adjust some of the “international control” settings, specifically the FXO impedance, On-Hook Speed, and also “Control Timer values” like the callee on hook delay and CPC delay.

Tnx for the replay,
I am not in United States (i am from Serbia), so that disconnect tone did not work for me. I have both the cpc and polarity reversal option enabled but i disabled the long silence detection couse i had problems getting disconnected calls.
On older firmware all was working with FXO impedance of 600 ohms so I didnt change that.
My spa-3102 is directly connected to the Panasonic PBX as extension. On Panasonic PBX CPC is disabled, if I enable the CPC will the disconnection work only with cpc detection? I have tried like 100 diferent DIsconnection tones, and I gave up on figuring why it wont work ![]()

Hi,
I am having similar problem with Panasonic disconnection. Please let me know how you solved it. I am havving terrible time. I have tried many disconnection tones but to no use. I am trying to fix remotely and problem I have is device will not go back to on hook and by rebooting on line does not work either. Do you kinow any way of disconnecting the device without power reboot. If i could force it go on hook than atleast I can try different scenarios.
Your help will be appreciated as we share same problem.

Thank you for your reply. You may send me your email or i could send you mine using private messaging.
Did you use default disconnection tone? If you used different please let me know or any other changes you made.
Do you know how to force the PSTN disconnection while I am logged in remotely.
