WRTP54G Setup -- NEWBIE

I've recently purchased a Linksys VOIP Wireless router Model No. WRTP54G.  I'm a newbie in all this and needed help to setup my new Vonage account as well as setting up my laptop to a wireless internet connection.  Can anyone direct me to a link that gives me step by step instructions.  Thanks.

Hi , i can help you with the wireless settings ....however for the vonage config , you will have to call vonage...

Hardwire the laptop to the router...open up you web browser and key in http://192.168.1.1 go and enter the password "admin" ....click on the wireless tab ...choose a SSID for yourself and select channel 11....save settings...once back, clcik on advanced wireless settings...reduce the beacon interval to 50 and reduce the RTS and fragmentation threshold by 40 each...save settings...unhook your laptop from the router and restart.
