RGFW-OUT BLOCK_RULES

My RV402 only has a few access rules in the firewall and they all seem to work fine but from time to time I will see these RGFW_OUT BLOCK-RULES in the log for outgoing connections to port 80 on some web site. There are no corresponding access rules that should be denying this connection.

Here is an example from the log:

RGFW-OUT: BLOCK-RULES (TCP 192.168.0.222:1258->66.151.182.194:80 on ixp1) [0,0] Wed Apr 9 18:01:24 2008

RGFW-OUT: BLOCK-RULES (TCP 192.168.0.222:1264->66.151.182.194:80 on ixp1) [0,0] Wed Apr 9 18:01:17 2008

RGFW-OUT: BLOCK-RULES (TCP 192.168.0.222:1261->66.151.182.194:80 on ixp1) [0,0] Wed Apr 9 18:01:12 2008

I should also add that I can connect to this IP address with no problem and without producing entries like this in the log.

Why are these showing up in the log?  What do they mean? Is there any way to find out what "rule" is causing this?

Re: RGFW-OUT BLOCK_RULES

Not very much sure. But try updating firmware to latest version. If it is a firmware issue, it should get fixed.
