Application error WUSB54GC

I have a error that keeps coming up and I can not get rid of it.  The error is Application Error  WUSB54GC.dll at 000252AF  ???

It continues to pop up every few minutes and will overide other programs to "show up on the screen.  It will continue to accumulate errors into the 200's or so before it finally closes and starts all over again.

Can someone help me get rid of this error.  I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the network adapter but even when the program was uninstalled the errors continued.  It also "pops up" two errors at a time.....

This is the error you when some of the application files are copied to the memory, which is currupted or not reading properly. The only solution to this issue is to uninstall the application and the drivers for the adapter in SAFE mode. So boot you system in safe mode by pressing in F8 while booting. Unistall the adapter drivers from Device Manager then uninstall the utility (application) from Add/Remove programs. Reboot the system in normal mode and reinstall the drivers.

Note : if you are using WinXp you can install the drivers for adapter, no need to install the application utility for WINXP.
