Documentation for advanced adapter settings

I Recently purchased the Linksys AE2500 adapter, upon looking at the advanced adapter settings, I couldn't find any more information pertaining to these settings on any linksys website or in fact online, where can I find a guide about these settings, Nothing about these setting was included on the CD

I set the basic one such as roaming aggressiveness but there are others that I would like to know about.

Re: Documentation for advanced adapter settings

What I would like to know is what is the afterburner function,

Wake up mode what choice to select if I don't want to use it, computer goes off after scan at the end of the day I found that the wireless adapter light stays on after the computer is turned off

What is wmm

What is XPress tm

Why If I disable b and g the adapter would turn off and I can't use it

Documentation of these setting would be nice to make choices simpler,

Thanks

Re: Documentation for advanced adapter settings

Afterburner is the Linksys branded implementation of "125 High Speed Mode" created by Broadcom. It is designed to enhance 802.11g throughput and is probably not helpful if you are using the AE2500 in a 802.11n network. Search for 125 High Speed Mode at Wikipedia for more information.

Re: Documentation for advanced adapter settings

Even though this is a dell webpage....I found this site very helpful in trying to better understand all the different advanced setting options.

I hope this helps some.
