Ubuntu and USB Wireless Adapter

Are any of the Linksys USB Wireless Adapters readily compatible with Ubuntu?

Re: Ubuntu and USB Wireless Adapter

I tried the Ubuntu 9.04 and my WUSB600n (version 1) was automatcially configured into it.  However, it did not do the same for my WUSB600N ver. 2.  I have since "dumped" Ubuntu.

Well currently Linksys doesn't have any adapter which works with Ubuntu. If you have a linksys adapter and wants to install it on Ubuntu then you need to try searching for 3rd Party Drivers which will work with that adapter.

The WUSB600N is based on the Ralink RT2870 controller chipset.  Ralink offers a RT2870 driver for Linux.

As I perviously stated, my WUSB600N (now version 1) adapter was automatically detected and configured in Ubuntu 9.04.
