Hi,
I have the above mentioned WMP54GS. And I just got a Windows 7 capable computer and got it installed. Now I can't find a driver that will work at all. Other than the Broadcom drivers that Windows installs naturally. (The Broadcom drivers are terrible. I play World of Warcraft and when before on my old Vista 64-Bit system I would get around 50 to 60 MS I now get 180 to 200. Thats just not gonna fly.)
So if anyone has this same setup...Please tell me how to get this to work. I've been trying for the better half of a day. (FYI I've tried Ralink drivers ((However the guide used was for a WMP54G)) and I've tried the provided drivers on the Linksys Support page)

Since I cant seem to find an edit button...My apologies for a double post.
I forgot to mention that when I installed the Vista 32 drivers the only problem I ran into was something along the lines of windows not wanting to run it because it wasnt certified for the device.

Windows 7 32bit and 64bit driver for WMP54GS (hardware version 1.0):
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloa
Download and run the setup. It will extract the files and run the installer. Cancel the installer. In Windows' device manager update the driver and choose your own driver and say "have disc" then point it to the location the files were extracted to (in C:\SWSetup\...) and choose "Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN" as the device. Done. Works perfect.
Only works on version 1.0 of the hardware which is Broadcom based. Version 1.1 of the hardware is RALink based so doesn't work for that one.
That driver date is: 5/20/2011
So, very recent as of this writing.

This works fine for me on a Asus P7P55M with W7 64bit SP1. Of course not as fast as Gigabit ethernet![]()
