I have the WMP300N and it works great... aside from the fact that I just moved into an apartment with extreme 2.4GHz saturation. I have the WRT610N and the 5GHz band works wonderfully upstairs on a MacBook.
I would pick up the WMP600N if I could find out the chipset it is using. I am running a Unix-like box and the chipset reflects the compatibility in my system.
Anyone have any idea what the chipset is?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply.
However, I was not looking for advice as to whether or not it will work with my system. Do you have a basis for your thoughts?
If you happen to know the chipset, please let me know.

I did some digging into the Linksys drivers (not sure why I didn't think of this sooner) and have found the device ID to be:
Which is Realtek. Maybe RT2800 family. This may work.
