WUSB100 Version 1.0 Vista 64 Bit
I found the drivers on Linksys site immediately after a Google Search. I have the WUSB-100 model version 1.0. It is clunky and grey, but after I downloaded the drivers for Vista 64 bit version, everything is working fine. I should mention that I have service pack 2 and that MAY make a difference at install.
Go to: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WUSB10
Click on the Vista Driver link or direct: http://downloads.linksysbycisco.com/downloads/driv
Unzip to wherever you like, but REMEMBER where you unzip it to. I created a directiory in C:/Windows/WUSB100 and placed my drivers in C:/Windows/WUSB100 just so I know where they are if I have to reinstall. It really doesn't matter where you unzip, just so you remember where it is.
The unzip will just place the very most essential driver files. When you place the USB Wireless in the port, Vista will ask you to place the disc in. Skip that and select Search for drivers and be sure to check the Vista Install box "Include Subfolders".
Go to the directory where you placed the drivers and click to install. Vista will write the location of the drivers into the registry and then it will work as long as you don't remove that install directory.
I had ZERO issues using this method. There is also a Setup Wizard on the Linksys page I just mentioned. I didn't use that because I don't like all the other fluff that comes with Setup programs. I may give it a shot just to see if it works.
In other news, the device worked 100% with Ubuntu 9.10 without a hitch!

For Windows:
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WUSB10
Once on this page select your hardware version. The version is printed on your USB stick.
If you are using Ubuntu Linux 9.10, it works automatically. I have not tested this on a Mac.

Hi
I have the WUSB100 unit from Linksys and have two computers one running XP Pro, the other Vista Premium 32 bit, and I can't get the darn adapter to work on the Vista box [XP had NO TROUBLE]. I understand that you might have a driver that will make it work on the Vista machine. Can you send that to my email address, marottamonster@gmail.com please?
Thank you
