I'm using its latest drivers, on windows xp, and I can't use channels 12-14 with it even changing its "country region" on "Advanced" tab at Device Manager...
I can't believe.. I live on Brazil, bought it here, and I'll be limited to 1-11 ?

The scenario that you explained according to that what is the exact error message do you get when changing the channel beyond 11MHz. Did you try connecting the adapter to any other computer with a different Operating System?

Let me know the type of router you are using within the network? Since, the adapter you are using is a kind of a G band due to which beyond 11 the adapter is not getting the proper frequency...
Try to use any wireless N adapter and then check the connectivity status...

I'm using a TP-Link TL-WR841N AP/router which can be configured to use from channel 1 to 14..
I have other adapters that work fine with channels 12, 13 and even 14.
WUSB54GC is the only one that seems to ignore the "Country Region" set.
