I get no activity on the link light on my wireless adapter.  I have tried different cables as well as USB ports???

Un-install the Linksys Adapter from Start >> All Programs...Once it is un-installed re-install the adapter...Follow the link here to re-install the adapter...Now you shall see your Wireless Network, connect to your wireless network and you should get the link light on the wireless adapter...
