What is the "Afterburner" setting on my WPC600N and should I use it?

I am trying to improve the performance of my WPC600N adapter.  I have found a list of setting for this device in the "device manager" area and I haven't made any changes in this area as I have no documentation on ANY of these settings and am wondering about them?

 

Can anyone shed some light on this hidden part of my adapters settings?
