my computer reboots when i plug in the WUSB54G V4 wireless adapter . do you know why?

Connect your USB Adapter to a different USB Port and try if the same thing happens...If not install the USB Adapter...

Click Start > Run, type "sysdm.cpl", and hit Enter. (On Vista, type it into the search box.) Click the "Advanced" tab, and click "Settings" under "Startup and Recovery". Uncheck "Automatically restart" and click OK.

 

Plug in the wireless adapter. Instead of a reboot you should get a blue screen. Write down the error name, filename, and hex values (0x00000000, etc., in order). Post them here.
